Line

A line was drawn
A line was drawn
Have your say but they won’t play
It’s not a fair deal anyway
Illegal by design
Unstitch and redefine
Enticed with persuasion
Marked by a selfish nation
Down and out you start to doubt it
Down and out and now you’re lost in it
A line was drawn
A line was drawn
Suffering to provide
Doing what’s needed to survive
The question still remains
Who is left to blame
The handle or the hand
No benefits no demands
Down and out you start to doubt it
Down and out and now you’re lost in it
It’s a devil’s highway flooded by the heat of the sun
It’s a devil’s highway and you’re burning oh burning
Desperation runs high and dry of piss
Thirst such thirst you bury your head into the sand.
Down and out you start to doubt it
Down and out and now you’re lost in it

Thirst of Name
02:21

On and on, this shit goes on and on. Down the scale and in your hearts where you find yourself redefining what was asked, the questions asked.
You're sucked in, you're pushed in, you don’t understand it but you're diving right in. You said you need it, Yeah, Yeah, you said you want it.
Opulence, no dignity
Adopted design, accepted abuse, a marketable sound blasted out for the teenyboppers. I know your kind, rejected in time, no excuse.
Desire drowns you up in the thirst of name. You’re drowning
And you say you need it, Yeah, Yeah. You say you want it.
Opulence, no dignity

Tear Down

It’s a pretty ugly shame, that it’s always the same on all the corners of every Main street. Developers are lining up to buy it up, strip it clean and lace their pockets with green. it’s so dirty and broken
You talk about revitalizing our cities and our town.
As another small mom and pop shop shuts down.
The mayor says it’s a necessary economic stimulation.
Neighborhood distinction lost because we gave it away at cost and the politicians are so easily attained. The evidence is clear, it’s marked on every stop. Let's raise the rent and give corporations a tax cut.
You talk about revitalizing our cities and our town.
As another small mom and pop shop shuts down.
The mayor says it’s a necessary economic stimulation.
Shift your currency from one town to the next.
You bought in and now we’re sold.
We’re fucked and faced with a clear design to build it up and tear it down
Talk about revitalizing our cities and our town.
As another small mom and pop shop shuts down.
The mayor says it’s a necessary economic stimulation.
I Just see it as big business building it up and tearing it down.

Kiss your loved ones goodbye don’t question why
Young adults are marching
Strapped with bullets, holding someone else’s gun
Drenched in camouflage
It’s the carpet hour filled with misery
The violence is so so unnecessary
The silence is so so unsettling
It’s a marathon of conflict
Splattered walls with red
The screaming goes so quiet
As the flowers fall with tears
The violence is so so unnecessary
The silence is so so unsettling
The news is in denial so we change the dial
The streets are burning
Our hearts are yearning
We’ve all lost at the price of want
It’s the carpet hour filled with misery
Somehow you avoided death, now salute your sender
Who calls you a hero of an unjust war
Your reward is spelled out P.T.S.D
What are we doing
It’s the carpet hour filled with misery
